Manny Green’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah Games for All Ages

Human Hula Hoop Race- Great ice breaker- Boys vs Girls as they lines up with students linked at the wrist - making a human chain. A hula-hoop is passed through without breaking the chain.

NFL Huddle Game- A number from 3-9 is held up. All students just have seconds to huddle up into groups of that number. When the music stops- they must freeze. You are counted out if you are not in the huddle or if you move during the freeze.

Hat Hot Potato- All kids are lined in a circle facing the person in front. You place the hat on the person in front of you. ( if you are caught looking behind you, you are out) If the music stops and the hat is on your head- you’re out!

Broom race- (4 to a broom,hands over your head) Disqualified if your broom touches the ground. A funny event.

Musical Chairs- One of the great classic party games

The World’s Strongest Man Contest- Ask for the three toughest people at the party. First one to put on a tee shirt wins. Little do they know that the T-shirts are frozen. This game is a hoot!

Limbo- Everyone has a chance to go under the bar !

Mad Russian Balloon Stomp - All boys are given a balloon and a 2’ length of string to tie around their ankle. All girls link hands around them in a circle insuring that they stay in the circle. If your balloon pops- you’re out.

Cutest Boy - Let the girls know that for 20 minuets, nominations are open for the cutest boy contest. ( have a parent take the names) Have all boys sit down then call out our three finalist. Little do they know that; as I give all the girls a balloon- they must slip on the oversize T shirt to be stuffed- After 60 seconds of Balloon stuffing we ask- “ Now , who’s the cutest boy based on your applause.

Hula Hoop Contest - Who can do it the longest. Once they get going try - 3 steps backwards, left leg in the air etc.. all heat winners for the championship.

The future Rock star Contest – Get in Groups of 4 and give them inflatable guitars and let them lip sing to Nirvana or their favorite group. Winner based upon applause.

Bottle Chugging contest- Each team to choose a representative for the bottle chugging contest- little do they know that they will be chugging from baby’s bottles.

Steal the Song – Teams compete. A red flag is placed in the center. A song is played and the first to guess the title runs and grabs the flag. You must have possession of the flag to give an answer. Great game for kids and adults.

The Bar Mitzvah Game Show : A TV like “Game Show” based on the likes & dislikes of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah star.

Tissue Pull: Duct Tape tissue box to table – without using their hands & only their mouth – they must pull out all the tissues and stack them to the side.

Egg Drop – Take an egg, balloons, straws and masking tape. Each team has to build a “capsule” out of the materials that will protect the egg when dropped from various heights off a tall ladder until one egg survives.

Bathroom Blowguns: With the wide McDonalds straws & Q-Tips, try to knock off a paper cup off the head of their opposite side.

Pyramid Cup Relay – This fast moving relay find teams competing to be the first ones to build a pyramid from small cups.

Midget Car Soccer- Battery operated Cars and Team USA soccer meet on the dance floor for a fun shoot-out.

Assorted line dances : -The Cha-Cha, The Macarena, The Electric Slide, The Hokey Pokey, The Chicken Dance, Staying Alive, YMCA, Ride the Train
